Please know that this docking station uses Mini USB connector for 2007 and 2008 model with flat bottom design. It will not fit the new 2009 version of Western Digital My Passport Essential and Elite. Western Digital new My Passport hard drive uses Micro USB connector. Please check with your Western Digital hard drive connector before purchase it. Thank you.
